!!!    JOIN THE COUNTRYWIDE VIGIL FOR DR HUSSAM ABU SAFIYA    !!!

Dr Hussam Abu Safiya, is a world-renowned pediatrician who has saved countless lives during the genocide in Gaza. Today, he remains in solitary confinement, facing severe mistreatment, after being detained for one and a half years, in dire conditions, without justification or cause. We join global calls for his immediate release.

According to Healthcare Workers Watch, 95 Palestinian healthcare workers remain detained by Israeli authorities and since October 2023, over 1,700 health staff have been killed.

Canterbury4Palestine has joined organisations across the country to demand Dr Abu Safiya's release and will be holding another vigil this week.

This VIGIL is an URGENT, coordinated, countrywide event involving several organisations, including Health Workers 4 Palestine.

Please come and stand together to show support for Dr. Abu Safiya and all health workers* illegally imprisoned by Israel.
